Tree Talk March 16 at 7pm

Holstein Park Ash Borer Issue Update Many of you have seen the unfortunate devastation that the Ash Borer has unleashed on Holstein Park, as it has throughout the City of Chicago and the Midwest states. Hundreds of millions of Ash trees have been destroyed by the Ash Borer. The Friends of Holstein Park and the Park District are hosting a meeting at the fieldhouse to discuss the plan to replace the trees cut down due to the bug. Join us for the discussion at Holstein on March 16th at 7pm in the auditorium. An arborist from the Park District Forestry Department will be at the meeting.
