Inside the gym at the Bucktown Apple Pie Contest

The Bucktown Apple Pie Contest is just one of many events we organize every year to raise money for the park.

10th Annual Bucktown Apple Pie Contest

School is back in session, the weather is cooling down, technically it’s officially fall… well that can only mean one thing! The 10th Annual Bucktown Apple Pie Contest – “In Pie We Crust” – is right around the corner too!

Mark it on your calendar (Oct. 19th from 2-5pm). Register as a contestant. Tell all your friends about it. Whatever you do, don’t miss out!

New Children’s Dance Class

Arts Partner Zephyr Dance is offering a new dance class this fall! It’s for boys and girls ages 5-8 and will be modeled after Zephyr’s Performing Arts Camp.  The class will teach dance technique, but will also focus on giving kids the opportunity to access their own creative voice. It will run Mondays from 3:30-4:15pm between Sept. 15 and Dec. 1. Register at the park only. Price is $35.00. See flyer for the full details.

Zephyr is also looking for 1-2 pre-teens to act as young leaders for the class and begin building a resume of community service at their park.
