Inside the gym at the Bucktown Apple Pie Contest

The Bucktown Apple Pie Contest is just one of many events we organize every year to raise money for the park.

Message from FOHP Advisory Council

Thank you to all the supporters of the Bucktown Apple Pie Party! The event raised funds for our park while providing a fun afternoon for the neighborhood. Serving over 650 pieces of pie, the event also provided entertainment by Dan Whitaker and the Shinebenders, magical illusions by Sean Masterson, and balloon creations by ChiTwist. We had wonderful volunteers for the event from One Brick Chicago, Union League Boys & Girls Clubs, Alpha Phi Omega (DePaul University), and many generous neighbors. Hoping to attend again next year? Help us keep this event alive by joining our event committee for 2016 by clicking here.

A huge thank you to the Chicago Park District for the use of Senior Citizens Park to make the Bucktown Apple Pie Party a success! Without the beautiful park and help from the hard working staff, we couldn’t have pulled it off!
